About Ed Benjamin, the person who created Harry Miles

Hello, my name is Ed Benjamin and I am the creator of Harry Miles. I recently wrote the story "Harry's War", which is available on digital media, such as Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader Store, the Apple iBookstore, Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo, Copia, Baker and Taylor, eBookPie,and Gardners.

I hope you will take the time to read this piece of short fiction which chronicles an air battle between the United States Air Force F-15C Eagle jet fighter and four Iranian Air Force Su-27 Flanker jet fighters.  This is a spine tingling incident which leads to the real war.

Here is some information about me.

I spent 27 years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer.  I spent most of my career supervising maintenance on tactical and trainer aircraft such as the F-104, F-4 C/D/E, A-7D, A-10, T-37, T-38, and the F-15C.  In addition, I served several tours of duty supporting the acquisition of major weapons systems into the United States Air Force, such as the F-15, the B-1, and the B-2.  Although I have never flown a plane I do have an appreciation about jet fighters.

Since I retired from the Air Force, I  have served as a proposal writer and manager and have helped multiple companies prepare over sixty proposals for companies who are seeking business with local, state, federal, and international governments.  My proposals have helped clients receive contract awards totaling $14 billion from various local, state, federal and international governments.

In addition to my proposal or technical writing , I have written other things. I have published articles and short stories in local, regional and national publications. I am also the author of  three books. These books include the novella, The Mission, a children’s book, Hector: the Snake Who Could Hear You Think, and the best-selling Cash in on the Obama $3 Trillion Spending Plan! How to make large amounts of money by conducting business with or receiving grants from federal, state, and local governments, a step by step guide designed to help people who want to do business with federal, state and local governments and to receive grants and assistance from federal and state governments. 

I am continuing to serve as a consultant to industry and my next nonfiction book project is tentatively titled A Step By Step Guide to Doing Business with the Federal Government.  I also have plans for a full length novel featuring Harry Miles, Private Detective.
